Unveiling Putin Hidden Ski Lodge

A recent report reveals that Russian President Vladimir Putin owns a “secret winter residence,” an expansive covert ski lodge near the resort city of Sochi. This lodge comes equipped with unique amenities, including a pickle pantry, a herbal sauna, a cryotherapy chamber, and even its own missile defense system.

On Monday, supporters of the detained Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny posted a new video to their NavalnyLive YouTube channel. This video aims to provide insight into what is claimed to be Putin’s opulent vacation retreat located on the Black Sea coast.

The report reveals that a property near the village of Krasnaya Polyana, officially owned by Russia’s state-run energy company Gazprom, serves as Putin’s confidential mountain ski retreat in the Caucasus Mountains.

Missile-Protected Security

A powerful Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile system guards President Vladimir Putin’s Hidden Ski Lodge mountain retreat, which is located close to the resort city of Sochi. This missile system is strategically positioned in a meadow that provides an unobstructed view of the lodge, which is situated less than a mile away amidst picturesque snow-capped peaks.

Spread across more than 49 acres of pristine terrain, the lodge comprises two expansive residences, guest accommodations for staff, a helipad, and a private ski lift. Adding to its allure, the lodge features a well-stocked pantry for pickles, a rejuvenating herbal sauna, and a cryotherapy chamber. Additionally, a separate building on the property serves as a kitchen exclusively reserved for the Federal Protection Service, tasked with ensuring Putin’s safety at all times.

Reports suggest that Putin’s concerns for his safety have led to the construction of sizable nuclear bunkers on the premises and a shift from his presidential plane to an armoured alternative.

The video highlights Putin’s extravagant chalet, which was constructed around the time of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. Officially known as the “Welcome Residence for Official Guests ‘Achipse,'” it derives its name from a nearby 8th-century fortress.

Supporters of Navalny claim to have obtained blueprints for Putin’s property, revealing it to be a massive four-story building spanning 41,000 square feet, with two of those stories located underground.

The lowermost level serves as storage space and houses various food preparation areas. These include rooms for processing eggs and vegetables, separate walk-in refrigerators for meat and fish, facilities for both hot and cold food preparation, milk storage, and a pantry for pickles.

Putin has become increasingly concerned about his security. This led him to build extensive nuclear bunkers and replace his presidential plane with an armoured train.

According to the report, after the Winter Olympics, another, even larger residence was built for the president just 400 feet away from the first one.

Independent journalists first reported on this new house in 2021, referring to it as “Putin’s winter palace.

The estate, covering 90,000 square feet, includes a custom “Nicholas II” grand piano from Germany, valued at approximately $76,000.

The luxurious residence is furnished with high-end items, such as a $1,800 goose-down blanket, Swarovski crystal-encrusted sconces costing $6,700 imported from the US, and an equally expensive mantle clock.

Vladimir Putin, who is 70 years old, was last spotted skiing in Sochi with his close ally, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, in February 2021, just a year before the Ukraine war began.
