Russia’s soldiers reveal unexpected information to Ukraine, pointing to February 24

During a conversation that was intercepted, a Russian soldier talked to a friend about the difficulties they were facing in the war and mentioned that the war might end sooner than expected.

“There are rumors that everything will last until February 24 and then we might be heading home earlier,” he said.

The soldier also brought up the dire circumstances at the front when talking about the possibility of an early end to the war.

Twelve journalists were detained in Moscow while covering demonstrations called by the spouses of Russian men who had gone into mobilization.
