Yevgeny Ivanovich Dietrich assumed the role of General Director on November 27, 2020.

According to the order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation No. ICH-59-r dated March 3, 2022 “On decisions of the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of State Transport Leasing Company JSC,” a new composition of the board of directors of STLC JSC in the amount of 11 people was elected. Russian Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev, who previously headed the company’s board of directors, resigned early.

STLC is the largest leasing company in Russia and is included in the list of systemically important organizations of the Russian economy. STLC ensures the implementation of state support for the transport industry, the formation of an effective infrastructure, the attraction of extra-budgetary investments, the development of domestic mechanical engineering, along with digital transformation and increasing the operational efficiency of the company. The sole shareholder of the company is the Russian Federation represented by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

All targets are designated pursuant to Executive Order (E.O.) 14024 , which authorizes sanctions with respect to specified harmful foreign activities of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The US Department designated 27 entities and individuals involved in the facilitation of sanctions evasion activity via international transshipment.

  • Yevgeniy Ivanovich Ditrikh (Ditrikh) is being designated pursuant to Section 1(a)(iii)(C) for being or having been a leader, official, senior executive officer, or member of the board of directors of Joint Stock Company State Transportation Leasing Company (JSC GTLK), which was previously designated pursuant to E.O. 14024.  Ditrikh is the director general of JSC GTLK.

Who Is Yevgeniy Ivanovich Ditrikh ? His Biography

Yevgeniy Ivanovich Ditrikh was born on Sept. 8, 1973 in Mytishchi, Moscow region. He is a former Minister of Transport of Russia from 18 May 2018 to 9 November 2020.

He graduated from the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics, and Informatics (MESI) in 1996 with a degree in economics.

After graduating from MESI, Ditrikh worked for a number of private companies, including the Russian Railways and the Alfa Group.

In 2012, Yevgeniy Ditrikh joined the Russian government as a deputy director of the Department of Industry and Infrastructure

In 2015, Ditrikh was appointed head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport . In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the safety of Russia’s transportation system.

In 2018, Yevgeniy Ditrikh was appointed Minister of Transport of Russia. As Minister of Transport, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of Russia’s transportation system, including roads, railways, aviation, and maritime transportation.

Yevgeniy Ivanovich Ditrikh was sanctioned by the United States in April 2023 for his role in the Russian government’s invasion of Ukraine. The sanctions prohibit Ditrikh from entering the United States or doing business with any US companies.

Yevgeniy Ivanovich Ditrikh is married to Olga Vadimovna​ Ditrikh. They have two children, Daughter Marina Ivanovich Ditrikh and a son Petr Ivanovich Ditrikh.
