Ukraine Russia War: According to Russian reports, Ukrainian troops have advanced along the Dnipro River, crossing over to the other side and entering Russia’s occupied territory. A well-known Russian military blogger known as ‘Rybar’ asserted that Ukrainian forces successfully penetrated Russian defenses while arriving on the eastern side of the Dnipro River.

He asserted that on the afternoon of October 17, they briefly held the village of Poyma and took up positions on the northern periphery of Pishchanivka.
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the milblogger later claimed that Russian forces pushed Ukrainian forces back from these positions towards the Dnipro River.

According to ISW, he also asserted that there is an ongoing presence of a Ukrainian sabotage unit in Pishchanivka as of the afternoon of October 18.
