A well-known Russian military blogger known as ‘Rybar’ asserted that Ukrainian forces successfully penetrated Russian defenses while arriving on the eastern side of the Dnipro River.

He asserted that on the afternoon of October 17, they briefly held the village of Poyma and took up positions on the northern periphery of Pishchanivka.
