Felix Vladimirovich holds degrees from two universities in Moscow. He studied law at the Griboyedov Institute of International Law and Economics, graduating in 2000. Felix Yevtushenkov Career

Felix Evtushenkov began his career in the early 2000s as an assistant to the head of CJSC Sistema-Invest. He later held a number of senior positions at Sistema-Hals OJSC (construction and development), including Executive Director of the Industry Department of Sistema JSFC. In 2008, he was appointed Vice President of Sistema JSFC (supervised projects related to consumer and underlying assets). In 2011, he was appointed Head of a corporation’s investment portfolio, which included high-tech assets.

In April 2023 ,

Felix Yevtushenkov, who was sanctioned by the UK government, resigned from the board of directors of Ozon, a Russian online retailer, on April 11. His seat on the board will remain empty for the time being.

The UK imposed sanctions on Yevtushenkov on April 12, along with other family members of Vladimir Yevtushenkov, the largest shareholder in PJSC AFK Sistema.

Yevtushenkov joined Ozon’s board of directors in March 2022, replacing Vladimir Chirakhov, who was the CEO of Sistema at the time.

At the time of the UK sanctions, Yevtushenkov also chaired the boards of mobile provider MTS and served on the board of power grid company BPGC. These two companies, like Ozon, are portfolio companies of Sistema.

(1) EVTUSHENKOV is associated with a person who is or has been involved in obtaining a benefit from or supporting the Government of Russia, namely Vladimir Evtushenkov. Vladimir Evtushenkov is or has been involved in obtaining a benefit from or supporting the Government of Russia by virtue of his ownership of Sistema JSFC, aconglomerate which has business interests in the Russian energy and information, communications and digital technologies sectors, which are sectors of strategic significance to the
Government of Russia.

On June 2023 , Russian Oligarchs Vladimir and Felix Yevtushenko have been put on the Czech national sanction list, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky said after a cabinet meeting.

“The government has decided to put two more people on the [Czech national] sanction list. They are Vladimir Petrovich Yevtushenko and Felix Vladimirovich Yevtushenko. Moreover, we will recommend these two manes be put on the European Union’s sanction list,” he told a televised news conference.

According to Lipavsky, Vladimir Yevtushenko, a big Russian businessman, and his son Felix provided the Russian government with large financial incomes. He visited the Czech Republic many times, he added.

The Czech government has seized the accounts and property of Vladimir Yevtushenkov, a Russian oligarch . Vladimir Yevtushenkov and his son Felix were placed on the Czech national sanctions list at the end of June – for “systematic activities that undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence of Ukraine.”

Among the seized assets of the Yevtushenkovs is the five-star Savoy Westend Hotel, located in the resort town of Karlovy Vary. The total value of the property of the Yevtushenkov family in the resort town exceeds 500 million Czech crowns (more than 20 million US dollars). According to journalists, the value of the confiscated property is about 100 million crowns ($4.6 million).

The Russian oligarch controls the five-star hotel complex through the company – Lunisoft. He also owns a next-door villa – Shakespeare under the company Sarlen.

Conclusion

Despite the sanctions, Felix Evtushenkov remains a powerful figure in the Russian business world. He is the chairman of the board of directors of one of the largest telecommunications companies in Russia, and he has investments in a wide range of industries. It remains to be seen how the sanctions will affect his business interests in the long term.
